Sept. 5, 2022 — Members of Bruchim’s leadership team travelled to Atlanta, Georgia, to attend the 16th International Conference on Child Genital Cutting, held from August 27–28. Since 1989, these symposia have convened biennially, when possible, and feature experts across multiple disciplines on the topic of the non-therapeutic genital alteration of children, including experts in law, medicine, anthropology, religion, ethics, and psychology. Bruchim’s Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon presented on behalf of Bruchim, speaking about the organization’s mission. The lecture was well-received.
