To Die In Secret Book Event — On Sunday, September 10th @ 9:00-10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Bruchim will host a book talk with Rabbi Dr. Haviva Ner-David, who will read from her new novel, To Die in Secret. Haviva, a post-denominational inter-spiritual rabbi, has felt conflicted about circumcision since facing the decision as a parent almost thirty years ago. Brave Voices Relaunch — Bruchim’s newest space for Jewish circumcision objectors is gearing up for another six-session sprint. Meetings will be facilitated by Leif Thompson, M.D., and held online every other Sunday, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, beginning on Sunday, September 10th. Bruchim’s Chaverim Expanded — Bruchim’s Chaverim, our online gathering for Jews and interfaith families, is opening its doors to our non-Jewish allies, allowing those regularly engaging with the newborn circumcision issue (such as midwives, birth educators, and genital autonomy advocates) to learn more about Bruchim and the needs of non-circumcising Jews.
