We are reaching out to you with an important request. I hope you’ll give it your serious consideration. We’ve just learned that a passionate fan of Bruchim is willing to match every dollar we’re able to raise over the next two weeks, up to $3,000.
This person wants to support Bruchim with their major gift, but they also want us to do our part by inspiring the larger Bruchim community. Which is why they’ve conditioned their gift on our being able to match it.
This is the first time Bruchim has been approached with a matching offer. It’s a big deal for us. We’d love to be able to accept the full $3,000 gift — and we really hope you’ll help us get there.
This donor particularly wants us to engage new people with our fundraising efforts. So they’ve offered to triple gifts made by first-time donors to Bruchim. A first-time donor who gives a $50 gift will result in a net gift to Bruchim of $150.
If you’ve never given to Bruchim, but you’re following our work and think it’s important, I hope you’ll jump on this chance to triple your impact.
If you’ve supported us in the past, please know how grateful we are. I hope you’ll consider supporting us again, right now, when you can double your impact.
Now, more than ever, we need your help. Bruchim is a unique grassroots project that fulfills a specialized area of need within the Jewish community. This means the pool of people who care about what we do, and who we depend on for donations, is small.
I am so proud of all we’ve been able to accomplish: our brand new podcast, online events, affinity groups, a concierge service that meets the needs of non-circumcising Jewish families, the robust Mark D. Reiss Inclusion Directory, scholarly videos posted regularly to YouTube, printable resources for Jewish institutions and families … and so much more!
Bruchim is led and operated by a volunteer team, and our volunteers are also among our most committed financial supporters. But, unfortunately, we will not be able to maintain our current pace and offerings unless we can secure more robust outside funding.
Especially if you have not given to Bruchim in the past, I do hope you’ll consider joining the small circle of those who support us. Your gift to Bruchim is just a click away.
Best,
Rebecca Wald, Executive Director
